I started getting very mean comments from people, usually they were TERFs but this time… this time was different. I was getting this onslaught of mean and hurtful comments from trans people!! From people I thought were with me. I thought we were on the same side. It feels so isolating to be excluded by my own people. Binary trans friends, please re-think your idea on what trans means. This really hurts.

I’m always so scared okay? I don’t stand out as a trans person to most cis people, but I still worry for my more visibly trans friends. I’m always on edge when I hear about someone being killed in the news. It could always be someone I know and that’s absolutely terrifying. Our lives matter too!
