I get worried about that kind of thing at work. I have short hair and have wanted to present myself more masculine, but I don’t feel comfortable being in the woman’s or men’s washroom when I haven’t decided to embrace my queerness – or made it official in any capacity.
Gender-neutral bathrooms should be a requirement in public places. Us trans folks get harassed way too much for the simple act of needing to pee once in a while like everyone else.
I cannot stand the glares and oh so obvious stares, too. Just leave me alone!
