The comic Michelle and I did for “Moonlight: A Queer Werewolf Anthology” which you can grab from our store.

I had a lot of fun with this one, as I tried out a new colouring style! It was a bit of work to do so I don’t think I’ll come back to this style but I like how it turned out nonetheless!

We wanted to do something more artistic for this year’s Swim On comic and Michelle ended up with a really beautiful concept that I was so excited to draw for!
The sketches for this were posted up on Patreon for the $1+ tier!

Part 2/2!
This comic was written and thumbnailed by Michelle, sketch by Ammy, inks and tones by me!
It’s not often I get to ink someone else’s work but it’s a lot of fun trying out someone else’s pencils from time to time. Also if you haven’t watched Porco Rosso, stop reading this and go watch it. It’s my favourite movie and a Lupin crossover was needed.

Page 3/3 for this little one-shot! It was nice to have the three pages spread out over three weeks while I work on another big Game Grumps Animated, thanks for being patient!

I did this one again on Clipstudio and I’m slowly getting to know the ropes tool by tool. Like I said before these oneshots are so nice to work on while trying out some new ways of doing comics!

A little behind the scenes for y’all, Clipstudio just came out for Android and this is the first comic I’ve done using it! It’s a little overwhelming but I’m hoping to do more of these one-shots to test out a bunch of the features it has, so look forward for that.

This is going to be a 3 page comic spread out throughout three weeks just because work is a little hectic right now. So here’s page 1 of 3.

Michelle wrote this one, it’s a little insight in who JP was before the apocalypse. Enjoy!

I also like it when Lupin has no idea what to do in a situation. Especially if it comes to someone else’s feelings. He’s not a feelings guy.

Michelle wrote this one after we’d brainstormed the idea a bit together! I like the idea that Yata’s been trying to get him to confess for a long time now. Yata seems like the teasing type if they’d actually give him a personality like in Prison of the Past.

Our first Dead City one shot for y’all! There’s a few little shorts like this that couldn’t make it in to the final comic so we thought we’d share and draw them for you anyway!

Hope you enjoy!

What other kinds of one-shots would you like seeing?

Vacation Request

This was written by Michelle!

We have so many one-shot ideas to share with y’all and I gotta say they have been such a joy to work on.

I was really worried after finishing Dead City that comics would be hard to do after, but shifting gears after and doing some really fun kind of self-indulgent comic work has helped my anxiety so much.

I think I’ve also been really scared of people leaving now that Dead City’s done, and while I really wish I had a webcomic ready to go as soon as Dead City ended it just wasn’t in the cards yet. But I want to assure you that we’ll be back with another big story, we just need some time to rest and recharge.

I hope you’ll stick around and enjoy some of these small comics in the meantime and look out for new stuff to come! The best place to get that info is on Patreon or on my Twitter @jeypawlik

The End

We made it!

Dead City is now finished. Thank you so much to everyone who read and support it; your likes, comments, and fanart really made working on it so much fun. Dead City started out as a simple, short comic that was meant to build our skills, but quickly grew beyond that. Six years later Jey and I are excited to move on to other projects but Mikael and JP will continue to hold a very special place in our hearts.  That said, there will be more Dead City! We have a few short Dead City comics that will be posting every Tuesday starting July 7th with the possibility of a (pay to view) NSFW comic in the future.

Thank you so much for reading and we can’t wait for you to see what we’re working on next!
-Michelle

Thank you everyone for your support of this story as we worked hard to make it.

We started Dead City on October 31, 2013 as a side project. Michelle and I were both working day jobs and didn’t have much time to spend on it in the beginning but we powered through and made a really great and wholesome story. I’m really proud of what Michelle and I have made together. We’ve learned so much about comics and have grown so much in the last 6 years. I love this story and I love our boys so much, I hope you did too!

We’ll be taking a break from posting comics, but in a few weeks we’ll be posting a few Dead City short comics every Tuesday for a while, little scenes that didn’t make it into the final story. So it’s not quite over yet so stay tuned! Follow us on twitter @topazcomics to get all those comic updates.

Michelle and I will also be hosting a Q&A/Drawing livestream to celebrate the end of Dead City (similar to the Gender Slices one from April). on July 21st from 6:30 to 8pm EST over on twitch.tv/jeypawlik again! We hope to see you there!

I’m very excited to work on new things, new webcomics, and new stories so I hope you’ll join us for those too~
– Jey

The boys have done it. They feel safe, they can eat hot foods and they have each other.

I wanted to take a lot of care on this page and I think it really shows. Thank you for reading, make sure you also read the next page which will have a write-up from Michelle and I.
