Jey Pawlik (they/them) is a nonbinary comic artist whose goal is to make queer comics for anyone to enjoy! They have been working in comics since 2013 as the artist for Topaz Comics with two completed webcomics “Dead City” and “Gender Slices” under their belt, and is currently a permanent guest artist on Oh Joy Sex Toy. I passed my 1 year on T in October and I’m feeling really good about it!

I’m not very confident in selfies but I’m trying my best out here.

I had a big deadline so here’s a practice 2 page Legend of Zelda comic that I started a while ago. I want to get better at halftones! I was inspired by Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou and wanted to try a similar layout/vibe.

The next page will come out next week and then I’ll be taking December 31st off from posting a comic, then comics will be back on January 7th!

My sketchbook, with two HRT diary comics in it, has been returned to me! I got to see a lot of family (the good ones) this summer and had some fun interactions involving my deeper voice. Everyone noticed!

It’s my birthday AND I hit some big follower milestones on Bluesky, Tumblr AND Mastodon, so to celebrate I wanted to do a traditional art giveaway! This includes sketchbooks, sketch pages, comic pages and illustrations.

I’ve had this in my WIPs folder for quite some time and finally decided to tackle it. This’ll be mini will be 3 pages long, and I’ll drop the other two next Tuesday. I’m trying out using halftones for comics and wanted to do some experimenting!

Oh, I also had this short idea after rewatching Porco Rosso for the millionth time (this time in theatres). If you haven’t seen it, go watch it! It’s maybe my favourite movie.

Just passed my 6 months on a low-dose of T, so I wanted to do a quick celebratory comic for it! I don’t generally do realism for these but a cartoon version didn’t hit the same way since the changes have been so subtle.

My 2 months was the other day and while things have been slow, they have been happening! It’s more gradual than I expected, but I’m also not complaining, I’m glad I’m taking it slow.

Really jazzed about getting hairier too! I think I’m in a much better headspace at 33 for this – actually, maybe I’ll do a diary comic about that concept. Stay tuned!

Another entry in today’s HRT diary, it’s my one month anniversary! I’m not one to do monthly celebrations but this, like top surgery, just feels like such a milestone. Like, I did it! I’m here!

I have a really good support system and wouldn’t be here without my spouse and friends.

I’ll keep anniversaries to a minimum but I wanted to celebrate my hobbit feet!
