My name on my nametag is KC and I ALWAYS get people asking what it stands for….. or what my first name is…. and usually I’m too weak to do anything but tell them my birth name…… once I told the truth that it was K(birthname)/Caleb (from back when I was fluid, not that I said that…), and the customer was just “huh…. cool!” and left me super confused lol.
i would just lie and tell them my parents were quirky and wanted people to ask me invasive questions like that. it’d probably get a laugh. or make them smile awkwardly and realize their mistake.
