I’m so lucky that my family figured out *real quick* that I was not a dolls & pink kind of kid, and was instead a legos (later video games) and green kind of a kid. (Though some of them do still think I’m a girl.) I got scared one time, not long before my grandpa passed, when I came to visit as a young adult, and there was a 3 foot tall doll sitting in one of the chairs. I asked my grandpa “That’s not for me, is it?” and he said something like “Oh goodness no, it’s for a friend’s little girl. I know you better than that. When you were born and the doctor said “it’s a girl!”, I thought I’d have a granddaughter who’d play with dolls and dress them up, but I’m so glad to have had you instead.” And this was all before I think I had even heard of “nonbinary”, and he also was 80+ years old and lived in rural Southern US his whole life.

Do you mind me posting your comic about Dean on Tumblr? I can’t find all the pictures together so I was going to post them all on one post and credit you… Is that ok?

hey there, I’m more than happy to post the full comic myself so you can reblog it. I’d really appreciate not having my comics reposted, so here’s the link for the whole comic all together:
