The Curse Eater comic page done in black and white with halftones. Vasilios begins his angry lecture saying "So, are you finally willing to debase yourself enough to tell me what's going on?" Salvator looks down at the statue in his hands, the glasses of his disguise removed now as well and he replies "That man's partner died because of this statue." and Vasilios looks guilty for being annoyed by it all. With a gradient in the background we move to a flashback. Narration reads "It had been in his family for ages and no one knew what caused the curse to suddenly activate." we see a slightly younger Salvator with shorter hair. He looks worried as he listens to a couple he sitting with at a table. The couple, which shows the cursed man we just met but before the curse afflicted him, he looks upset and wears his dark robes with a monocle. His partner, a thin light skinned person with shoulder length curly hair and a curly little moustache with big circular glasses but is showing the same signs of the curse, with their right arm inflicted with the birch texture. Narration reads "It deformed and killed them in only a few months." and we see the man sitting next to a bed where his partner lays, completely covered by the birch texture and breathing heavily. Narration reads "He was devastated, and took the statue and move to the far woods so no one else would be affected." and we see the man, statue in his arms, with a big pack on his back walking through the woods, he looks scared, worried and nervous.
