Was at the mall with Michelle and this person was just so… deliberate and loud with their use of “ladies”.
Why does it have to be this way? It always feels like people go out of their way to gender me.

This is something I try not to do as a cisgender ace woman, especially in our day and age. I do slip up from time to time, because hey, I’m only human, and I strive to become better.
Also, I found your comics about a year or so ago, and watching the growth of both of them is great. Keep up the great work, Jey and Michelle! 😀
Eh, I’m an enby as well, but you gotta remember people are taught to be polite and saying “Excuse me ladies.” is considered polite. It sucks, but remember there is no maliciousness in this situation, but I understand how it sucks to be reminded.
I only hope then, that we can unlearn and unteach this in the future.
